A tragic accident in Grand Prairie, Texas, claimed the lives of a 13-year-old girl, her 6-year-old brother, and their parents over the weekend. The family was driving in their Chevy Traverse when they were struck by a speeding red Dodge Charger, causing their SUV to crash into a gas station and catch on fire. The only survivor was their 16-year-old son, who is currently in critical condition in the hospital. The driver, 20-year-old Jaime Mesa, was allegedly street racing with another driver, 22-year-old Anthony Morales, at the time of the crash. Mesa, who remains in the hospital, will also face charges for manslaughter, racing on a highway, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon once he is released.
