Dallas County Honors Fallen Deputies in Annual Memorial Service
DALLAS – In a heartfelt tribute, Dallas County leaders gathered Thursday to honor the bravery and sacrifice of deputies who lost their lives while serving in the line of duty. The annual Deputy Memorial, held at Founders Plaza, recognized the 19 members of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The ceremony began with a stirring rendition of the national anthem, followed by a respectful gun salute and a flag folding tribute, symbolizing the respect and gratitude owed to these fallen heroes. As the names of each deceased deputy were read aloud, fellow deputies rendered salutes, a poignant reminder of the bond and respect within the law enforcement community.
