Krispy Kreme Celebrates Pac-Man’s 45th Anniversary with Limited-Edition Doughnut Collection
Krispy Kreme is teaming up with Bandai Namco to honor the iconic Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary, offering fans a delightful collection of limited-edition doughnuts and exciting giveaways. The celebration kicks off on May 22, coinciding with Pac-Man’s birthday.
The special doughnut lineup includes three unique creations:
- Pac-Man Party Doughnut – A classic glazed doughnut topped with yellow buttercream icing, colorful sprinkles, and a playful Pac-Man figure.
- Team Ghost Doughnut – A chocolate cream-filled confection adorned with black icing, featuring the famous Pac-Man maze and tiny ghosts.
- Strawberry Power Berry Doughnut – Similar to the Team Ghost variant but filled with strawberry cream and topped with red icing and white sprinkles, complete with a green leaf.
Krispy Kreme’s Chief Growth Officer, Dave Skena, encourages fans to enjoy these flavorful treats together, highlighting that “these all-new PAC-MAN doughnuts are sweetest in multi-player mode.”
Alongside the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is giving away 45,000 free original glazed doughnuts from May 22 through May 28 during designated "Hot Light" hours, with one free doughnut permitted per person each day. If fans manage to eat all 45,000 doughnuts, they will be rewarded with the return of the beloved strawberry glazed doughnut.
Additionally, from May 22 to May 24, customers can receive a complimentary 10-count of Pac-Dots with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts. On Pac-Man Day, a dozen original glazed doughnuts will be just 25 cents with the purchase of a regular dozen.
