European Leaders Urge Cease-Fire as Tensions Escalate in Ukraine

Putin’s spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, dismissed the threat of new sanctions, asserting Russia’s ability to mitigate their impact and reiterating opposition to a cease-fire unless Western military support for Ukraine ceases.
