Micah Hudson Returns to Texas Tech After Brief Stint in Transfer Portal
LUBBOCK, TX – In a surprising turn of events, former five-star wide receiver Micah Hudson has re-signed with Texas Tech, rejoining the program after a brief time in the transfer portal and an even shorter stay at Texas A&M. Hudson announced his decision on Sunday, marking a significant chapter in his unpredictable football journey.
After finishing the 2024 season with eight receptions for 123 yards in five games, Hudson entered the transfer portal during the winter window. He spent approximately a month with the Texas A&M Aggies but walked away from the program just before spring practices began. Hudson initially brought considerable hype to Texas Tech when he committed in 2024, becoming the first five-star recruit in the program’s history.
