The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a man who robbed a smoke shop at gunpoint, hitting the same shop twice in less than a week. During the second robbery, the suspect opened fire inside the shop and left with cash. The first robbery occurred at 1 am on April 18, with the armed suspect demanding money from the clerk. The suspect fired shots towards the wall and a camera before fleeing with more cash from the back room. The Top Smoke Shop has been closed since the incidents, with nearby businesses displaying pictures of the suspect in hopes of his capture. Surveillance footage from a nearby bar shows the suspect robbing the shop at gunpoint on April 12 as well. Chief Jennifer Gabbert of the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office believes the suspect to be dangerous and is asking the public for help in identifying him. Deputies believe the suspect lives in the area and came and left on foot. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
