A suspect driving a stolen truck and trailer was involved in two hit-and-run crashes in Richardson before fleeing into a neighborhood. The incidents occurred at the intersections of Coit and Campbell Roads, as well as Campbell and Custer Parkway. The suspect, whose name has not been disclosed, was eventually found and arrested by officers. The truck and trailer were reported stolen from Lewisville earlier that day.
Witnesses informed police that the driver of the truck and trailer fled on foot after the second crash. The suspect was located by officers and taken to a hospital for minor injuries. As a result of the search for the suspect, Custer Parkway and Nantucket Drive into the Canyon Creek neighborhood were temporarily blocked off by police.
