Three men have been charged with the abduction and murder of 33-year-old Nilzult Arneaud Petit in Dallas. Investigators believe that the suspects, allegedly part of a Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua, forcibly took Petit and two juveniles from an apartment complex before fatally shooting him in the head. The juveniles were later found unharmed by police officers.
Ehiker Alexander Morales Mendoza, Carlos Luis Zambrano Bolivar, and Jhonata Nahin Toro Gonzalez have been charged with capital murder and aggravated kidnapping in connection with Petit’s death. A fourth suspect, Jhonny Jesus Martinez Serrano, is still at large. The suspects had a connection to Petit through an ATM theft operation, which led to escalating tensions and ultimately the kidnapping and murder of Petit.
Morales Mendoza was arrested in New Mexico, while Bolivar and Gonzalez are awaiting extradition to Texas after being detained in Colorado. Police are still seeking information on Serrano’s whereabouts, urging the public to come forward with any tips. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Farmers Branch Police Department.
The investigation into Petit’s murder is ongoing, and authorities are working to bring all suspects to justice. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any information that may help in locating and apprehending Serrano.
