A 72-year-old man named Hussein Murray was found dead in his basement in Rochester Hills, Michigan, after two men posing as DTE workers entered his home. His wife was found tied up with duct tape. One suspect has been arrested in Shreveport, Louisiana, but the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for a second suspect. Murray owned a jewelry store in Hamtramck. His grandson expressed deep sadness over his death and praised his grandfather’s kindness and compassion. The family is grateful for the community support and the efforts of the sheriff’s department to seek justice. The investigation is ongoing to determine if anything was taken from the home. The public is encouraged to provide any information or tips about the second suspect by contacting Crime Stoppers. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
