Seven people were killed and dozens were injured when a commercial bus from Atlanta to Dallas overturned in Mississippi. The bus, operated by Autobuses Regiomontanos, experienced a tire failure causing it to leave the highway and flip over. Six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene and another died at the hospital. Among the deceased were a 6-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister. The company has been providing cross-border trips for 20 years and claims to have a modern fleet of buses. The injured passengers were taken to hospitals in Vicksburg and Jackson. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash further to determine the exact cause. So far, the authorities have not released the names of the deceased passengers. The Mississippi Highway Patrol was on the scene handling the aftermath of the tragic incident.
